Carabid fern spore feeding

I recently saw some images posted on facebook by “Blackdog To Chan” of an Odacanthine that I am pretty sure is Mimocolliuris (Paramimocolliuris) sinuatiphallus Zhao & Tian. The really cool thing is that Blackdog TC saw it feeding on the spores of the fern plant it was on. I haven’t done any serious searches in the literature, but this not common for sure. I think there was some earlier reference to tree fern spore feeding in Hawaiian  platynines. Now I will have to look at ferns more carefully.
